Pat Collins Bar in Adare, Co. Limerick, established in 1947, is a cherished family-run establishment now managed by Michael and Mary Collins since 2001. They’ve skillfully modernised the bar while preserving its historic charm. Renowned for its great food and live music, the bar creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, serving a variety of dishes daily from noon to 9 pm. It’s an ideal destination for a night out, offering a wide selection of beers, including Guinness, and expertly crafted cocktails. We can cater for parties on request. The Collins family tradition of exceptional hospitality continues with the fourth generation, as Eoghan Collins joins the team to ensure every visit is memorable.
We offer an extensive bar menu with a wide range of Irish and international dishes for all appetite’s.
Our meals range from lunches to dinner from 12pm to 9pm daily.

pat collins dedication
The pub was purchased by the Collins family in 1947. Pat was only 14 when his father Paddy died and Pat started working in the pub. His dedication to the establishment and the personal touch he brought to the business were instrumental in its success.
Pat’s role transcended that of a mere proprietor; he became a figurehead in the community, known for his hospitality and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of his pub. Pat continued to run the pub until Michael and Mary took over. However, Pat was still very much a part of the establishment until his death in July 2022.
